These roles are based in the picturesque County of Kent, offering a unique blend of beautiful countryside, coastal destinations, and historic towns and villages. What you'll do: Deliver proactive property advice and guidance to KCC and its partners. Effectively manage you/your team’s portfolio professionally, prioritising its requirements in a timely way to mitigate risk. Maximise value, minimise operational costs/liabilities, and promote efficient use of assets. Implement activity, change and operating policies to ensure that portfolios of land and property are managed effectively. Deliver a programme of property estate deliverables in accordance with KCC’s Strategic objectives, including Framing Kent’s Future. Ensuring value for money through driving externally procured property consultancy advice as necessary. What you'll need: A Level 5 qualification (Diploma or Degree) or advanced level professional knowledge or qualification. Established experience in a similar environment working with a range of occupied and unoccupied assets. Extensive experience and expertise in managing property transactions of varying complexity, driving value and quality of service. Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written Ability to think laterally with a problem-solving approach. Remuneration: Working as part of the Infrastructure Real Estate Team at KCC offers lots of benefits: A competitive salary including a ‘Golden hello’ payment of £2,000 on appointment and a Market pay premium allowance paid in instalments.
