We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team and play a critical role in driving the company’s financial performance and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities As a Management Accountant, you will:
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
* Analyse financial performance and contribute insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
* Monitor and control budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with organisational goals.
* Collaborate with department heads to provide financial advice and support for business planning activities.
* Lead variance analysis, identifying trends and providing actionable recommendations.
* Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as required.
* Develop and maintain robust financial controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Assist in the preparation of financial models and reports for new projects, investments, or proposals.
Qualifications and Experience We are looking for a candidate with:
* A professional accounting qualification or significant progress towards it.
* Proven experience in a management accounting role.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights.
* Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships across departments.
