3. Policy Implementation: Assist in drafting and enforcing fleet operation policies.
4. Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee strict maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
5. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of vehicle inspections and services.
6. Budget Monitoring: Ensure fleet costs stay within budget.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience for the Removals Fleet Manager:
1. CPC Qualification: Required.
2. Transport Law Knowledge: Strong understanding of road transport law and legislation.
3. Driver Hours Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of driver hours and working times.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent spoken and written communication abilities.
5. Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
