Production Engineer with RADAN experience required in Telford, Shropshire Introduction: Are you a skilled Production Engineer, RADAN Programmer or similar CAD/CAM with sheet metal / fabrication experience programming lasers and punch or brake press machines? This role is working day shifts with a lunchtime finish on a Friday (39 hours per week), and the job offers an attractive salary up to £40,000 per annum (dependant on experience). We are looking for someone who has previous experience / familiarity with Press Brakes, CNC Lasers, Turret Punches and other fabrication processes, previous 3D CAD Software experience is highly advantageous. What You Will Do: Interpret engineering drawings to support production planning and the creation of manufactured Bills of Materials. Schedule the flow of mechanical and electrical parts through various manufacturing work centres. Program CNC laser, CNC router, and turret punches using RADAN software, ensuring optimal efficiency. Progress the flow of work focusing on deadlines, specifications, and quality standards. Provide technical support to the shop floor, acting as a bridge between design and manufacturing. Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance production processes and product quality. What You Will Bring: A robust understanding of fabricated parts and familiarity with press brakes, turret punches, and other fabrication processes. Proficiency in programming, preferably with RADAN or similar software. Experience with 3D CAD software is desirable, though not essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
