Corporate Communications Manager Our Communications team are now looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to join them on a 12-month fixed term contract. About the Role As a key member of the Corporate Affairs team, you will drive strategic, proactive, and reactive corporate communications, strengthening the Harrods brand both internally and externally. This role requires someone with a strong media network and expertise in corporate and external affairs, with a deep understanding of the luxury retail industry and policy areas relevant to Harrods. Your key responsibilities will be to: Develop and implement strategic corporate communication campaigns that build Harrods’ corporate brand. Maintain and expand relationships with key media and industry contacts. Lead crisis communication planning and execution as part of Harrods’ Crisis Management team. Oversee communications related to Harrods’ sustainability strategy, working closely with the ESG team to deliver the annual report. Represent the Corporate Affairs team to internal stakeholders across multiple divisions, including marketing, digital content, and visual merchandising. Manage and mentor the Corporate Communications Executive. Identify macro and micro trends in the media landscape, using them to strengthen Harrods’ corporate voice. About You You will be a seasoned Corporate Communications professional with proven experience in developing and executing high-impact communication strategies. You will have an extensive network of media contacts and a deep understanding of the luxury retail industry, with expertise in navigating key policy areas. You will be adept at managing both proactive and reactive communications, including leading crisis management efforts to protect and enhance brand reputation. You will also have strategic insight, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You will also be: Skilled in managing relationships with key stakeholders and collaborating across different business functions. Focused on team development with leadership experience to support this. A self-starter who can take initiative in identifying opportunities for brand strengthening.
