Role Overview:
As a BMS Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning, configuring, and optimizing BMS systems on-site. You will also write software and create graphics tailored to project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience with TREND, Tridium, or Schneider systems, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Commission and configure BMS systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with project specifications.
* Develop and write bespoke software for BMS systems, tailoring it to the needs of each project.
* Design and implement system graphics, providing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for end-users.
* Conduct on-site testing, fault-finding, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability.
* Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project deadlines and expectations are met.
* Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users as required.
* Prepare detailed documentation, including commissioning reports and handover packs.
* Stay updated with the latest technologies and developments in BMS and energy management.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience in commissioning BMS systems, including TREND, Tridium, or Schneider.
* Strong programming skills for writing BMS software.
* Proficiency in creating and implementing system graphics.
* Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent).
* Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
* A full UK driving license and willingness to travel across Yorkshire.
* Knowledge of energy management and HVAC systems.
* Certification or training in TREND, Tridium, or Schneider BMS systems.
* Experience working on large commercial or industrial projects.
