We are seeking a highly experienced Sous Chef to join our team as a Senior Culinary Specialist, focusing on menu development, kitchen operations, and staff management.
Key Accountabilities:
* Design and develop new menus, recipes, and cooking techniques, staying up-to-date with industry trends and customer preferences.
* Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring seamless execution of menu planning, food preparation, and presentation, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
* Coach and mentor junior staff members, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance their skills and confidence.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to drive culinary innovation, improve kitchen performance, and increase customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent experience in Culinary Arts, with a strong background in kitchen operations, menu planning, and staff management.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
