Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled IT Technician to provide technical support and maintain IT infrastructure for a diverse and dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across multiple locations, support innovative digital initiatives, and be part of a global technology leader.
This role is fully on site, based in Plymouth, you will need to be able to commute 5 days a week.
Responsibilities of the IT Technician include: -
* Provide 1st and 2nd level support for hardware, software, printing, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution of logged tickets
* Configure, install, and maintain end-user devices (laptops, desktops, and mobile devices) and assist with operational technology in production environments
* Manage IT infrastructure, including Windows servers, network administration, and digital upgrades
* Deliver training and support to end users, enabling effective use of IT systems and applications
Requirements of the IT Technician include: -
* National Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years of relevant IT support experience
* Proficiency in IT project support and delivery with strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Knowledge of IT compliance, asset management, and software license management
* Familiarity with tools like LANDesk, Microsoft technologies, and IT ticketing systems
