Commis Chef - Ballater We have an exciting opportunity to join our kitchen team at the Fish Shop Restaurant and Fishmongers as Commis Chef working closely with our Executive Chef, Marcus Sherry, and team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a strong passion for excellent food and a desire to develop your cooking skills. You will learn and gain experience on each section of our kitchen. As Commis Chef you will be responsible for: Preparing the mis-en-place for the section assigned to you accordingly to a list given to you by the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie. Ensuring the quality of food preparation is of the exceptional standard. Ensuring effective communication within the team. Assisting on other sections or help with other duties when required. Ensuring the cleanliness, organisation, and standards of the section. Our successful Commis Chef will have: A true passion for food. The enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
