We are looking for a friendly and well-organised experienced veterinary receptionist to join our team, working on a full-time basis at our busy Lynton Vets in Horsell clinic. This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, lasting approximately 12 months. As the face of our practice, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and supporting the smooth running of our clinics. You will work closely with our dedicated vet and nursing teams to ensure the highest level of service for both clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Greet clients and provide exceptional front-of-house service
2. Handle incoming telephone calls and respond to client queries
3. Process payments and manage insurance-related inquiries
4. Respond to client emails professionally and efficiently
5. Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting areas

We are a long-established, Small Animal Veterinary Group. As a progressive practice, we recently relocated to our brand new, purpose-built practice in Woking, and continue to invest to refurbish and equip our other 2 practices to the same high standard.
The practice maintains state-of-the-art clinical equipment such as dental radiography, Virtual Veterinary equipment (VVS) ultrasound scanners, anaesthetic multiparameter, and patient warming equipment. We also have a purpose-built grooming salon at our main site. We have a loyal client base and a gold standard reputation across the local community. We have great transport links to London and the beauty and history of Surrey on our doorstep ready to explore.

Our 6 Veterinary Surgeons are supported by a great team of 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses, 4 ANAs, and experienced Receptionists across the Group. Your shift pattern
You will cover shifts between 7:30 am and 7:30 pm, including 1:4 Saturdays.
