ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY:
As an Assembly Technician you will play a key role in the manufacture of products to a high-quality standard using hand tools and assembly jigs.
ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Testing to specified test parameters.
2. Recording build/test information.
3. Rejecting and recording nonconforming product.
4. Continuous quality inspection of your own work.
5. Maintenance of bench stock items, bench top tools and manufacturing aids.
6. Use of PC systems.
7. Working to standard construction or build times.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
1. Although previous soldering and wiring experience desirable this is not essential as full training will be given.
2. Previous test equipment and manual handling is an advantage.
3. PC Literate with general numeracy and literacy skills.
4. Good dexterity and an eye for detail and quality.
5. Organised and self-motivated individual with the initiative to prioritise.
6. Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
7. Tidy and organised.
8. Positive and friendly approach.
9. A correct aptitude, willing to undergo training and a positive can-do approach is essential.
Hours for this role:
Monday to Thursday from 7am to 3.45pm and 7am to 11.3am on a Friday.
