Role: Office Manager – Temporary – Belfast
Job Overview
VANRATH are assisting our client, who are seeking to appoint an Office Manager on a temporary basis for a minimum of 6 months. This role will be responsible for managing business operations, financial tasks, client enquiries, and oversees meetings, events, and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and drive the growth of various business services, ensuring they align with company goals and meet client needs, including office space solutions, communication services, and meeting facilities.
* Manage day-to-day financial tasks such as invoicing, credit control, reporting, and budget monitoring, ensuring all processes are accurate and timely to support smooth operational flow.
* Take responsibility for the overall functioning of the office environment, ensuring proper organisation, maintenance, and supply management, creating a professional and efficient space for both employees and clients.
* Manage and optimise all office-related technology systems, ensuring telecommunications and IT infrastructure function efficiently, collaborating with service providers to resolve issues as they arise.
* Serve as a key point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service, handling inquiries, and ensuring long-term satisfaction through professional and responsive communication.
* Organise and manage meetings, conferences, and other events, ensuring all logistics are planned meticulously and executed to the highest standards of professionalism.
Essential Criteria:
* A minimum of two years’ experience in office management, operations, or a similar administrative role, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
* A strong emphasis on customer service, with a track record of maintaining positive client relationships and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members, as well as deliver clear and engaging presentations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to manage data and documents efficiently.
* A relevant degree or equivalent qualification, such as Business Administration or a related discipline, to support a strategic approach to office management and client service.
