We are seeking a Youth Engagement Worker to join the STEP (Support to Engage and Prevent) Service, working at the heart of our community to support young people and their families through proactive, targeted interventions.
🔍 About the Role As a Youth Engagement Worker, you will play a vital part in:
Assessing and planning tailored interventions for children at risk of offending.
Working directly with young people and their families, delivering one-to-one and group sessions that promote positive behaviours and prevent criminal activity.
Engaging with partners across the statutory and voluntary sectors to deliver a joined-up approach to youth support and crime prevention.This role is a key frontline position that combines community-based work, relationship-building, and safeguarding with meaningful, hands-on support to young people navigating challenging circumstances.
