S3 ID is a leading provider of mustering and personnel safety solutions for the Oil & Gas industry, delivering innovative technology to offshore and onshore operations worldwide. We are expanding our commercial team and looking for a proactive, results-driven leader to drive growth and develop key client relationships.
The Role
As Sales Director, you will be instrumental in expanding our global footprint. This role is ideal for someone with sector experience who is ready to take ownership of sales strategy while remaining hands-on in securing and closing deals. Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth in existing and new markets.
* Lead sales negotiations with the support of our engineering team, ensuring solutions meet customer needs.
* Maintain and build strong relationships with existing and potential clients across the industry.
* Expand our network, identifying and securing new business opportunities.
* Travel globally (1–2 weeks per month) to engage with clients, partners, and industry events.
* Lay the groundwork for a future sales team, supporting the company’s long-term growth plans.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in Oil & Gas (or a related industrial sector) with an understanding of technology-based solutions.
* Commercially driven, with a proven and demonstrable track record in sales and new business development.
* A strong communicator, able to build relationships and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
* Ready to step into leadership, with the ambition to build and manage a sales team.
* Willing to travel globally, spending 1–2 weeks per month meeting existing and prospective clients.
