Juice Personnel are currently working with a well-established company, who are seeking a Billing Team Leader for a small team of 3. But must have a strong leadership presence to help with people management as well as invoicing/billing/analysing data.The Juicy Bits:Based in Grangemoor WF4Office-based onlyHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PMSalary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum DOEThe Role: We are looking for a proactive and experienced Billing Team Leader to oversee the billing process, ensure accuracy in invoicing, and provide strong leadership to a small team of 3.You will be responsible for managing workflows, analysing billing data, and improving efficiency within the department. The role requires strict adherence to business targets, contract-specific requirements, and SLA commitments, while maintaining the highest standard of customer service for both internal and external clients.Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of invoicing staff to ensure accurate invoicing and business targets are metEnsure team productivity aligns with daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs & SLA requirementsConduct daily meetings with the team to review workload and performanceProvide daily statistical updates on productivity and backlog to the businessAttend internal onboarding meetings to support the rollout of new contractsPrepare for and participate in regular meetings to reduce overall Work in Progress (WIP)Perform quality checks on team members' workConduct monthly one-to-one meetings with team membersTake ownership of escalated issues and provide effective resolutionsManage team overtime budgets effectivelyConduct annual appraisals and performance reviewsOversee recruitment, training, and development of new staffHandle disciplinary actions, performance management, and absence management for the billing teamProvide one-on-one coaching and continuous development for team membersReview aged debt and participate in regular review meetingsAbout You:Proven experience in a team leader or management role, ideally within billing or invoicingStrong experience in invoicing, billing, and financial analysisExceptional people management and customer service skillsAbility to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutionsStrong decision-making skills with the ability to use initiativeExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with all levels of stakeholdersHighly organised with excellent problem-solving abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelAbility to adapt management style to support different team membersAbility to work flexibly and meet business requirementsDesirable:Experience working within a fast-paced invoicing teamKnowledge of patient lifting and handling equipment used in the healthcare industryEducation & Experience:Educated to GCSE level with at least 3 A-C passes, including Maths and EnglishBenefits:25 days holidayLife AssuranceSalary sacrifice pensionMedicash health plan (claim towards health costs such as dental, optical, physiotherapy, and chiropody)Free parking on-siteEmployee recognition schemesSocial events and committeeOngoing training and development opportunitiesCompany benefit discounts and reward schemes, including retail and hotel discountsPlease Note: This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Juice Personnel, which is operating as an employment agency.Please Note: As Juice Personnel is a reputable recruitment agency, we do not submit your CV to the end client until you have met with us.
