We have an exciting opportunity for a Part -Time Cashier to join our team The main aspect of this role will be to support the Cashier Supervisor within the Finance department to ensure the timely and accurate processing of bank, payment, and refund information. The perfect candidate will be able to help drive improved performance through tasks including daily reconciliations, processing journals, and handling customer refunds. The role will be working between 13 -15.5 hours over 2 days ( Monday & Wednesday) Key Accountabilities Completion of daily and weekly reconciliations, including investigation and resolution of variances. Processing journals and paylists for suppliers and urgent ad-hoc payments. Maintaining bank statements and accounts, including daily reconciliation. Processing customer refunds and resolving queries. Reconciling payments received across multiple payment providers and resolving queries. Supporting the completion of month-end tasks within required deadlines. Identifying areas for improvement in processes and providing feedback to the line manager. Involvement in projects as required. Capabilities, Skills, and Experience Required Good general education, including Maths and English (GCSE standard). Previous experience in a similar role. Experience using Microsoft Office packages. Advanced Excel skills. Ability to analyse large sets of data. Familiarity with working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Studying AAT or a desire to do so.
