Responsibilities:
* Deliver English and Maths functional skills tutoring to students
* Develop tailored lesson plans to meet individual learning needs
* Assess students' progress and provide feedback on their performance
* Support students in improving their English and Maths skills
* Utilise a variety of teaching methods to engage students in the learning process
Minimum Requirements:
* Recognised teaching qualification
* Specialisation in English and Maths
* Experience in delivering functional skills tutoring
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths
* Strong understanding of English and Maths curriculum
* Ability to create engaging and interactive learning materials
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Effective classroom management techniques
Desirable Qualifications:
* Additional certifications in teaching English and Maths
* Experience working with SEN learners
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis in a learners' home setting. The tutor will be required to work closely with students to improve their English and Maths skills.
