We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Workshop Service Advisor to join our Workshop team based in Hammonds Drive, Eastbourne. Brewers Truck Centre is part of the DAF trucks dealership network, offering its services to various commercial vehicle operators within the Eastbourne Area.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the workshop by overseeing daily administrative tasks and coordinating work assignments for our team of skilled Commercial Vehicle Technicians. With a strong focus on maintaining the highest standards of service, this position is responsible for ensuring that both our internal and external customers receive exceptional support and care.
As a Commercial Workshop Service Advisor with Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include:
1. Prepare service schedules and pre-planned servicing for customers
2. Plan and raise job cards for allocation
3. Obtain order numbers from customers and ensure accurate work instructions
4. Assist with workload planning and manage service/inspection schedules in the workshop diary
5. Handle customer enquiries via phone and at reception
6. Support cost control efforts by ensuring all job elements are recorded on job cards to maximize income and using the warranty system to claim for completed work and reconciling payments to invoices
7. Arrange and book annual MOT tests for company and customer vehicles, keeping users informed

8. Previous automotive experience is essential
