Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant Location: Killamarsh (S21) Salary: £84-£95 per day Contract: Full-Time and Part-Time About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of our primary-aged students, ensuring that every child receives the attention and encouragement they need to succeed. The role is within a Y3 class, and includes some SEN 1:1 support as well as general classroom support. Within this school there are also other Teaching Assistant opportunities, the school often requires additional Teaching Assistants for other year groups too. Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Support student's social and emotional development. Supervise activities, including playtime and class projects. Skills & Qualities: A successful Primary Teaching Assistant should have: Enthusiasm & Patience: A passion for working with children and the patience to support their learning journey. Strong Communication Skills: To effectively work with teachers, parents, and students. Adaptability & Initiative: Ability to handle a variety of tasks and adapt to the needs of the classroom. Experience or Qualifications: Previous experience working with children, or a qualification in child care or education, is essential for this role.
