The Role
As a Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for a selection of the agency's accounts of various sizes, handling multiple projects to ensure consistency and quality of delivery. Managing the campaigns from start to finish, you will umbrella the whole project working closely with all disciplines and agency partners. You will be client facing when appropriate, with ownership and responsibility for timings, scope of work, staffing plans, budgets, and logistics, becoming the trusted face of delivery. You will refine process, become the backbone of every project and be the client operations expert on every account.
Through line management, you will mentor and support Project Managers You will be a creative advocate, have passion for creative and technology, process strong interpersonal skills, be operational minded and exude excellent communication skills. Your Key Responsibilities Here are your key responsibilities as a Senior Project Manager at McCann Central. The day-to-day stuff
• Analyse critical data points to identify and quickly highlight key issues, problems and opportunities.
• Gain insight into the client's statement of work and propose solutions to help manage the account more effectively.
• Ensure you and your team are scoping, resourcing and managing projects correctly including tracking burn rates.
• Understand our Financial and Project Management tools.
• Provide the team with an informed point of view, context and business implications
• Engage in meaningful and constructive debate.
• Review/feed back on the timing plans and scopes created by the team.
• Own process, and take a birdseye view across the entire project to anticipate what comes next.
• Distil large amounts of communication into key actions or takeaways for your team.
• Provide big-picture thinking in tangible ways relevant to role (i.e., re-engineer a process).
• Manage client budgets for effective financial management and strong relationships with appropriate clients/vendors.
• Ability to involve Brand Guardians in the continuous improvement of work to improve effectiveness of creative input.
• Partner with creative teams to evaluate work based on strategic direction and client needs.
• Support your team to develop an understanding of the creative process and take on commercial project ownership.
