Location: Office based in Edinburg, hybrid (remote work in consideration)

Day rate: £500-600/day
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 5 days
Role Overview
The Wind Engineer shall deliver Wind Measurement and Analysis services in the Engineering Team, CTO, and wider business, demonstrating an ability to add value to opportunities in a highly competitive and changing marketplace while ensuring appropriate Engineering and Quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of RFQ for met mast installation/decommissioning tenders
2. Evaluation of tender documents from suppliers to choose preferred supplier
3. Liaising with met mast suppliers
4. Organise and perform site surveys
5. Work on TSA and contracts with suppliers
6. Collate required information and documents for planning application of met masts
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of a degree in a relevant engineering, scientific, physics and/or mathematical discipline. Chartered membership of an appropriate body would be an advantage. Previous experience in UK onshore/offshore Wind projects NEEDED! Experience in Wind Assessment Software (Windographer, Windfarmer, OpenWind, or other fluid dynamics modelling software) and ArcGIS is a plus.
