Proclinical is working with a pioneering pharmaceutical company who are excited to hire a highly motivated Medical Affairs Manager to join their Global Medical Affairs team, focusing on person-centric HIV care and treatment. This role is a 9-month contract position based in Uxbridge, with a flexible work arrangement of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, or potentially fully remote due to US hours.
Responsibilities:
1. Serve as a key contributor and knowledge expert for Global HIV Treatment Medical Affairs.
2. Manage projects related to the analysis of new, emerging data and incorporate relevant information into medical content trainings.
3. Participate in global Medical Affairs activities, including managing conference data and medical sub-team meetings.
4. Oversee the creation, review, and updating of Medical Affairs slide decks, response documents, and other training deliverables.
5. Assist in developing the global Plan of Action and ensure alignment of team activities.
6. Maintain the HIV Sharepoint Page to disseminate information on current and future HIV treatment products.
7. Provide ad hoc support to globalization sub-groups, such as topical decks and HIV databases.
8. Support HIV Medical Affairs Advisory Programs as needed.
9. Collaborate with Medical Scientists, Medical Information, Clinical Research, and Clinical Pharmacology to support responses to medical inquiries.
10. Carry projects to completion, anticipating and resolving obstacles collaboratively.
Key Skills and Requirements:
11. Advanced healthcare degree (MD, DO, NP, PA, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent).
12. Relevant clinical and scientific experience in HIV.
13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in preparing and delivering PowerPoint presentations.
14. Commitment to continuing education to maintain knowledge base.
15. Ability to synthesize findings from multiple sources and formulate actionable recommendations.
16. Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
