Vehicle Prepper/Polisher
Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday
PAYE Rate: £16 p/h
Umbrella Rate: £18.56 p/h
Hours: 7am – 4pm
Igloo has an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Prepper/Polisher in the Immingham area. This role offers the right candidate an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading automotive companies who have operations across the nation.
The Role:
As a Vehicle Prepper/Polisher, you will be working on but not limited to:
* You will be using filler to fill any small dents, chips or scratches on the vehicle’s bodywork.
* Using machine sanders to sand down small chips.
* Applying primer to the bodywork.
* Rubbing down the filled and primed areas to ensure a smooth finish.
* Preparing vehicles with masking paper to protect areas not required for painting.
* You will need to polish out any paint defects once the vehicles have been painted.
What kind of person we are looking for?:
* Must hold a full driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
* Previous experience working in a similar role.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Self-driven and self-motivated.
* Must be able to work within a team environment.
* Must have a keen eye for detail
