Foster Lawson are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join the team in Leeds, focusing on the US Manufacturing market.
The ideal candidate will have completed A-levels at the very minimum, and ideally a Bachelors Degree, as well as being a self-starter with a strong eye for detail.
Responsibilities
* Review candidate resumes, conduct interviews, and assess skill sets to match them with appropriate manufacturing roles, ensuring alignment with both technical and cultural fit.
* Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial contact to job offer negotiation, onboarding, and post-placement follow-up.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their staffing needs, company culture, and long-term hiring goals.
* Consult with clients on market trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment strategies specific to the industry.
* Provide insight to clients on competitor hiring trends, emerging talent pools, and workforce challenges within the sector.
* Assist candidates with relocation and onboarding processes, particularly for hard-to-fill roles in specialised areas.
* Use data analytics tools and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, placement success rates) and continuously improve hiring efficiency.
* Act as a liaison between clients and candidates during the entire recruitment process, offering support, feedback, and guidance.
