The Opportunity We are looking for two new colleagues to play a vital role in delivering top quality economic analysis that shape our Prosperous Places and Social Connections programmes. You will be working at the heart of our Design for Life mission using your skills to achieve tangible impact. About Our Programmes The RSA's Prosperous Places initiative comprises a set of innovative, targeted approaches designed to achieve three specific aims: formulating local growth strategies and plans, nurturing local learning and skills, improving local social cohesion and connectivity in communities. Our Social Connections intervention seeks to ensure a world where: entrepreneurs, no matter their level of privilege, have the same ability to connect to resources, mentors and capital, our built environments foster connection and community, isolation and loneliness are not trademarks of old age, young people can navigate the world with a sense of belonging and community support, the wariness and detachment we feel towards each other is transformed into a spirit of generosity and connection, no one is left out or left behind. This role is based from RSA House in London for at least three days per week, with hybrid flexibility for the remaining days. About You What we look for in the successful candidates: A passion for improving the quality of our programmes, and producing robust insights Interest in economic issues, with experience of working in an analytical capacity on economic policies or programmes Fluent in using one or more statistical programmes such as Python or R. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver well-rounded analysis Ability to lead the planning and execution of a programme of analytical work that supports our programmes Excellent communication and teamworking skills, and ability to interact with senior internal and external stakeholders.
