Where we need your help
This role is an exciting opportunity for a creative, commercial and forward-thinking Mandarin-speaking marketing manager to join our fast-paced, energetic business. You will be supporting marketing for China with a focus on social media, working closely with our China digital agencies and content creators.
What you’ll do
Lead China social marketing:
1. Work with a social media agency to lead social strategy and content development to present the Monica Vinader brand across various CN social channels, including RED, Wechat and Weibo.
2. Track and analyse social media metrics to evaluate the success of campaigns and content direction strategies.
3. Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of posts.
4. Monitor social media trends and incorporate relevant topics into content.
5. Local content creation - brainstorm, create and manage content projects based on seasonal, NPD and local market needs.
6. Manage social paid media budget. Work with a paid media agency to track paid media performance.
7. Use data-driven insights to optimise content and paid investment to support Ecommerce growth.
8. Manage all brand visual touch points across social and Ecommerce platforms to ensure brand authenticity and consistency.
9. Liaise with the global social team on global/local market insights, align on content strategy and brand presence in the local market.
10. Propose local digital communication solutions to support business needs.
11. Working closely with the PR manager to drive influencer content and outreach, constantly look for new influencers to partner with.
12. Working closely with the Head of Trading and Marketing to work on new projects as the brand grows, e.g. offline events, new collection launches, etc.
What you’ll bring
1. Must be native speakers of Chinese and fluent in English (written and spoken).
2. Experience in social media management with a focus on the jewellery, fashion or beauty industry.
3. A genuine passion and deep understanding of the fashion industry, knowledge of industry trends and audience preferences.
4. Experience in graphic design and video editing is a plus.
5. Proactive, up-to-date with China social trends, influencer landscape and content themes.
6. Ability to balance between a robust analytical capability and an interest in the creative process.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
9. Adept at managing multiple priorities and with meticulous attention to detail.
10. A genuine interest in jewellery and fashion.
11. The ability to work in an ambiguous environment, where the answer is not always obvious, and the right questions need to be asked.

Travel Requirements
