Job summary Were looking for a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our Community Nursing Team in Bath & North East Somerset In this rewarding role, youll provide essential phlebotomy care, advice, and support to housebound patients in their own homes. Working closely with the District Nursing Team, youll help deliver high-quality care while following established policies and procedures across patients homes and care homes. This is a part-time role (15 hours per week) with flexible working options between Monday and Friday working 7.5 hours x 2, 9:00am 5:00pm (30 min break) or 8:30am to 4:30pm (30 min break). Your base will be St Martins Hospital, Bath, but as this is a community-based role, travel within Bath & North East Somerset will be required. If youre passionate about patient care and enjoy working within a supportive team, wed love to hear from you Main duties of the job Provide phlebotomy care to patients in the community as part of the dedicated phlebotomy service. Perform routine daily tasks, ensuring a high standard of care and efficiency. Carry out phlebotomy and blood pressure monitoring in line with agreed care plans, work plans, or guidance from registered colleagues. With training and support, develop skills to perform additional procedures, such as ECGs and patient weight recording, ensuring competency in these extended duties.
