We are seeking a motivated Analyst to join our Portfolio Management team, supporting the management of diverse investment portfolios. You will work alongside a collaborative team of ten Portfolio Managers dedicated to credit portfolios and additional PMs across the Group. In this role, you’ll interact closely with all areas of the business, including the Group’s servicing platforms, leveraging cross-functional expertise. Key Responsibilities Portfolio Management : Contribute to all aspects of Portfolio Management, including monitoring, reporting, forecasting, optimisation, strategies, asset sales, implementation, restructuring, audits, due diligence, projects and process improvements. Data Analysis : Analyse data from various sources such as performance metrics, cash flows, costs, forecasts, operational KPIs, loan covenants, referrals, economic indicators, company accounts, distributions, and project timelines. Risk & Opportunity Assessment : Utilise analytical skills to identify risks, opportunities and breaches, clearly presenting findings to stakeholders through verbal presentations, slides, graphs, and data summaries. Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships across Group-wide stakeholders (Finance, Capital Allocation, Fund Operations, Data Science, Origination, Counsel, and Governance) as well as external partners, clients, and investors. Qualifications Essential Skills & Experience Strong academic foundation, with at least one degree in a STEM field. Excellent problem-solving and commercial acumen with the ability to synthesise complex information from multiple sources and attention to detail. Self-motivated, results-oriented, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Strong time-management skills, with a proactive approach to handling a dynamic workload in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Confident communicator with strong collaboration and influencing skills; able to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Open to feedback and eager to learn, with a willingness to research new concepts and skills independently. Preferred Skills & Experience - highly driven candidates with different backgrounds are welcome to apply Degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Economics. Prior experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, asset management, data analysis, interpreting complex financial data. Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, or Power BI. Experience with lending, non-performing loans, real estate, corporate bankruptcy and administration, or litigation. Relevant certifications (e.g., CAIA, CFA) are advantageous. Knowledge of governance, compliance, regulations, and delegated authority frameworks. Proficiency in additional languages (Portuguese, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch, or French) is a plus.
