Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of elderly individuals? We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced nurse to join our client's prestigious nursing home in Stepney Green, London.
Position: Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) - (Nights)
Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
Hourly Rate: £22 per hour weekdays and £23 per hour weekends (Paid breaks)
Hours: 36 hours per week

Responsibilities:
1. Delivering high-quality nursing care to residents within the nursing home setting.
2. Conducting thorough assessments of residents' health needs and developing personalized care plans.
3. Administering medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols.
4. Monitoring residents' vital signs and addressing any changes in their health status promptly.
5. Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care is provided.
6. Providing emotional support and maintaining effective communication with residents, their families, and colleagues.
7. Promoting a safe and comfortable environment for residents, adhering to health and safety regulations.
8. Ensuring accurate documentation and maintaining up-to-date records.
Requirements:
1. Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN) with a valid and active NMC pin.
2. Proven experience working as a Staff Nurse in a nursing home or elderly care facility.
3. Sound knowledge of current nursing practices and clinical procedures.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
5. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
6. Compassionate nature with a genuine passion for caring for the elderly.
