Receptionist / Concierge
Laing O'Rourke, C/O of Select are looking to recruit a receptionist / Concierge to join our team at our manufacturing centre of excellence in Worksop.
This role will be a public facing position, meeting and greeting visitors, client representatives, and facility management in addition to manning the reception desk and answering the main switchboard. The receptionist will offer a service to ensure that all facility administration is kept in an organised and methodical manner whilst complementing the operations of the site team.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Acting as a front-line support to employees and visitors to the facility, providing a professional and friendly service ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
* Issuing and creating visitor ID passes ensuring security compliance.
* Working closely with the facilities team ensuring any secretarial tasks are completed.
* Monitoring of CCTV, Alarm and building management systems for escalation.
* Providing general administrative support in the safe and efficient running of the facility.
* Organising and prioritising own workload to provide effective planned support for the facility.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
* Communicates clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing.
* Very competent and confident using computers and MS applications.
* Courteous, professional manner with a calm, vigilant approach to multiple duties.
* Works as One Team - Respects and co-operates with the team, sharing problems and accepting support. Adopts a friendly and approachable manner.
* Conscientiously delivers for customers, planning ahead and prioritising own workload.
* Ideally experience within a similar role and prepared to undertake Security training for the role.
We pay in line with the real living wage which is reviewed annually - Currently £12 - rising to £12.60.
