The principal responsibilities are supporting the payroll function – ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees within the EMEA region.
About the role
We are looking for a Payroll Executive based in our Weybridge office. Ideal candidate would have UK payroll experience and some exposure in European payroll.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure accurate and timely payment of employees within the UK/EMEA region.
2. First point of contact with Payroll vendors UK/EMEA for those countries directly responsible for.
3. Maintain Payroll mailbox for communication with external payroll providers and HR teams and employee queries.
4. Close co-operation with EMEA Payroll Manager to assist where required and with Local finance.
5. Responsible for reviewing new hire entries, master file changes from myHR, and reconciling payroll files from payroll vendors as well as auditing the payroll system data to the corporate system of record.
6. Partner with colleagues to assist with payroll processes, cycles, and projects with HRBP’s, business leaders, Global/Regional Finance, and other stakeholders, to ensure smooth delivery of the payroll processes, cycles & projects
7. Assist with monthly fluxes and provided detailed support to the international accounting team
8. Assist with research projects and preparation of management reports as needed
9. Ensure operational and SOX controls are properly performed within the payroll process
10. Assist with audit queries concerning payroll and payroll controls as required
11. Will assist with implementation of the International global payroll platform solution
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
12. Experience of UK and International payroll processing
13. Processing payroll in EMEA (or APAC) region experience
14. Possess a working knowledge of international payroll-related requirements and regulations
15. Knowledge of international payroll vendor(s) software/processes
16. Maintain confidentiality in all assignments and in all information obtained
17. Ability to organize and prioritise work to meet deadlines
18. Experience using banking and accounting systems
19. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
20. Good working knowledge of excel
21. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization both internally and externally
22. Fluent English, any other language will be an asset
