An opportunity exists for an Encapsulation Technician – based in Pulborough, responsible for the assembly of electromechanical products including the encapsulation process. Duties Carry out all aspects of mechanical assembly work as part of the Encapsulation process including pouring, sealing, priming and conformal coating of assemblies. Carrying out routine checks, maintenance and cleaning of encapsulation machines, compressor, vacuum pump, maintenance, and filter change of spray booth equipment all in accordance with procedures. Planning, progressing and co-ordinating workload in accordance with production schedule and other internal customers, such as repair and design departments. Raising production paperwork including non-compliance/rework records and stores requisitions in accordance with company processes. Ensuring all quality procedures for build and workmanship standards and ESD requirements are implemented. Maintaining and improving housekeeping and cleanliness of work area. Responsibility for adhering to the Company’s Quality ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 Environmental Management system requirements and the Health and Safety Management System. What you will need Electronic component recognition. Understanding of mechanical assembly procedures and processes. Appreciation of modern manufacturing techniques. Good communication skills.
