Client relationships play an important part in our business and we now have an excellent opportunity for a Client Services Assistant to join our team based at Derby. This role is responsible for assisting the Debt Recovery Manager and the wider senior management team in maintaining and developing good business relationships on behalf of the Debt Recovery department and ensuring the firm always delivers in line with the clients expectations. Key Responsibilities To maintain and develop a database of existing clients for the debt recovery department, seeking to improve processes and develop the accounts where possible, including but not limited to being the first line contact to ensure or escalate where failing: Direct Payment notifications are received in a timely manner. Operational client queries and requests for information from us to the client over 30 days old are minimal. Invoices over 60 days old are minimal/resolved. Monitoring and supporting with query quality. Setting up and resetting portal access for clients Supporting operations with data capture quality for client use To respond to client queries and requests for information. Attend performance meetings with the clients on behalf of the firm and the debt recovery department. Making sure that meetings are noted on key discussions points and action logs developed and progressed. Support client process mapping and best practices. To proactively identify potential client issues and work with colleagues and management seeking early solutions. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. To refer new leads and opportunities whilst developing relationships with key decision makers. Onsite client visits and meetings where appropriate. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise You will: Demonstrates strong customer relationship skills Possess excellent IT skills and organisation Proficient with Microsoft Excel Have great interpersonal skills and be able to communicate your ideas Be a good problem solver Be able to manage own workloads, and ask for support where needed Disclosure will be required in the event that a position is offered.
