Salary: MPS/UPS (M1 to UPS3)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of French & Spanish to join a good secondary school in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students, deliver engaging language lessons, and contribute to the success of a supportive and high-achieving school community.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will teach French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 based on experience. You will play a key role in fostering linguistic skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in students, while contributing to the continued development of the Modern Foreign Languages department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5 teaching).
* Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that inspire students.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
* Support curriculum development and participate in department initiatives.
* Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that nurtures student well-being.
* Contribute to extra-curricular activities and events, fostering a love for languages and cultures.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in French, Spanish, or a related subject. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching French and Spanish at KS3 and KS4, with experience at KS5 being advantageous. A passion for languages, cultural exchange, and developing student creativity is essential, as is the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Degree in French, Spanish, Modern Languages, or a related discipline.
* Experience teaching French and Spanish at KS3 and KS4 levels.
* Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student success.
* Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.
