I am working in partnership with a client to find them a UI Developer to join their team and help shape the user interface for multiyear modernisation programme. If you have 12+ month commercial experience and have experience working with Angular, TypeScript, and responsive app design, this is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career. You’ll be involved in the design, development, and delivery of key features, working closely with a collaborative team to build something impactful.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate estimates for development tasks and deliver them on time, ensuring high-quality results.
Work alongside the team to design and develop new features for the application.
Build a modern, responsive, and user-friendly interface according to project specifications.
Test and deliver clean, quality code that meets all functional requirements.
Create clear and thorough technical documentation to explain complex processes to colleagues.
Regularly update task progress and completion status to ensure smooth project flow.
Contribute to team discussions and help achieve both individual and team objectives.
Take on any other tasks as required by the team to ensure project success.
Role Requirements:
12 months or more of commercial experience in Angular and TypeScript development.
Experience designing and building responsive web applications.
Understanding of UI/UX design principles and how to implement them effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
A collaborative team player who enjoys working in an agile, fast-paced environment.
For this role, you will need to be based in Scotland. They are based in Aberdeen and would love to have you in the office on a weekly basis, but for applicants further afield, a trip to Aberdeen every other month is what will be expected.
