Our client is a well-established engineering manufacturing of fluid control products for applications throughout critical industries. They are going through a rapid growth phase and looking for a dynamic MD who can drive sales, innovation and manufacturing expansion.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Managing Director to lead and shape the future of this growing engineering manufacturing business. In this pivotal leadership position, you will oversee a range of projects, from short-term initiatives to large-scale, high-value long-term programs. Your ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders will be key to driving business success and further growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies, optimize operations, and ensure the smooth delivery of projects across the Industrial, Oil & Gas, Energy, Military and associated.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the business and contribute to its strategic growth, ensuring alignment with both long-term goals and day-to-day operations.
* Oversee the successful delivery of a wide range of engineering projects, managing teams across multiple disciplines.
* Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture where innovation, accountability, and excellence are central to the business.
* Develop and nurture relationships with key external stakeholders, clients, and partners to build the company's reputation and secure new business.
* Implement best practices in project management, operations, and continuous improvement to drive efficiency and profitability.
* Work closely with the senior leadership team to formulate and execute business strategies.
Candidate Requirements:
* Strong background in engineering, ideally valves, pumps, or related products.
* Extensive experience as a senior leader or director in an engineering project management capacity.
* Experience in driving growth and leading change.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to business operations.
