We are looking for an Information Systems Support Desk Analyst to join our team!
Our Information Systems Support Desk Analyst Team provides configuration, smartcard support and resolution to clinical access issues to approximately 5000 end users of SystmOne, eQuest, eDocs, Inform and Summary Care Record to name a few. You will need to work closely with all services across the Trust and the rest of the Information Systems team, as well as the Data Warehouse, Performance and Business Intelligence teams.
In this role you will provide a comprehensive Clinical Records System Electronic Patient Record support service within the Solent NHS Trust across all Trust sites, which allows staff to use key systems proficiently and effectively. You'll support of all Clinical Records Systems (CRS) and other key systems relevant to Solent NHS Trust, including upgrades.
You'll provide 1st line applications support of all Clinical Records Systems (CRS) including the 'day to day' account management of those Systems, including ad hoc 'how to' support and configuration changes.
You will act as the Local Administrator for key systems, as required To become highly proficient, aligned with expert level knowledge, of all operational aspects of all Clinical Records Systems (CRS) and other key systems utilised across all Solent NHS Trust sites.

Main duties of the job
1. Lead on all operational changes clinic management of Solent NHS Trust Clinical Records Systems SystmOne in liaison with clinical services and promote best practice by regular communication with service users.
2. Support the Product Specialists to manage and action all requests for change to Solent NHS Trust Clinical Records Systems by liaising with suppliers for any functional changes which fall outside system administration functionality
3. Maintain operational support of the various national HSCIC applications and key local systems and ensure the day to day running of a quality service, which includes the investigation of appropriate calls logged to the Service Desk.
4. For all requests that cannot be resolved, provide an effective interface between users and system providers supplying all necessary diagnostic information, according to established procedures. Monitor progress and apply escalation procedures for problems not progressing satisfactorily.
5. Provide sufficient cover during day-to-day operations, system upgrades.
6. To attend external meetings and actively participate, in particular TPP SystmOne User Groups for Solent NHS Trust, in order to advise on build and support.
About us
We have been working with other local NHS Trusts to create a new organisation, bringing together all community, mental health and learning disability services from across Hampshire and Isle of Wight. Subject to approvals, the aim is for the new Trust to be formed by the end of 2024.
Project Fusion is the name for the programme to create the new combined NHS Foundation Trust. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust will be bringing the services into a single organisation will result in more consistent care, more equitable access to services irrespective of postcode, and a more sustainable workforce and services. The new organisation will operate locally to ensure services can best meet the needs of different communities.
The new Trust will be comprised of all the services currently provided by Solent NHS Trust and Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, the community, mental health and learning disability services provided by Isle of Wight NHS Trust and child and adolescent mental health services delivered in parts of Hampshire by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
Colleagues will transfer to the new organisation under Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) -- known as TUPE on the day the trust is formed. TUPE is a legal process to ensure you transfer out of one organisation and into another, maintaining the terms and conditions of your employment.

14. Experience of working under pressure particularly with end-users at all levels of seniority
