Find out more about the benefits of working at the University and what it is like to live and work in the Durham area on our Why Join Us? - Durham University The Role and the Department The International Office is responsible for: • The recruitment of international students to all areas of the university to meet institutional targets • Supporting and managing the development of international partnerships and relationships with key sponsor bodies and international stakeholders to raise the University's global profile, meet recruitment goals and to support academic colleagues in developing international links and collaborations • Managing the university's student mobility programmes (Erasmus and other exchange partnerships) to meet the University's student mobility targets The role will provide leadership for a team of administrators who support all aspects of the work of the international office. This work includes supporting inbound and outbound delegations, servicing a portfolio of education agents and sponsor and scholarship organisations, supporting internal communications and supporting diary management of the Director - International. Five GCSE's at least Grade C or level four (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics and a Post-16 qualification or equivalent experience. 2. Experience and expertise in the development and delivery of administrative services. 3. Experience of providing advice and guidance to a range of customers and colleagues. 4. Experience of implementing policies and procedures. 5. Experience of supervising/managing a team and/or a line management qualification. Skills/Abilities/Knowledge 6. Excellent spoken and written communication skills including the ability to develop effective working relationships, both internally and externally. 7. Strong digital competence across a range of digital devices and apps including outlook, Microsoft 365 applications, student records management systems and finance systems. 8.
