Job Purpose
As Senior Desktop and Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for the achievement of your own and your team's service level agreements and key performance indicators adhering to accepted Technology Services processes within the end User desktop and mobile estate.
Providing support, maintenance and change related activities for the company's end user desktop and mobile technology and infrastructure.
You will also support the production of processes and documentation and contribute service improvements through the analysis of the end user desktop and mobile estate.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* Analysis, design and development of more detailed or routine End User Technology solutions to meet user requirements.
* Analysis and resolution of routine and complex End User Technology related incidents and problems to minimise disruption and maintain service availability.
* Perform routine maintenance activities to assure availability of services and their continued support.
* Review and fulfil requests for End User Technology catalogue and services.
* Understand and deploy build standards and automation that help improve efficiencies and reduce build time and provide delivery within these standards.
* Work with Strategy and Delivery teams to ensure new deployments align with the build standards and with orchestration and automation standards.
* Help deliver towards the continuous improvement plan and help drive improvement through change.
* Work collaboratively with teams across Technology Services, the wider business & 3rd parties to deliver services and efficiencies.
* Maintain security compliance within the End User Infrastructure using the necessary end point protection, hardening and policies.
* The role requires standby support, and some assignments will require out of hours cover.
