ARCHITECT - DEFENCE AND/OR SECURITY EXPERIENCE
We have new opportunities for an Architect with Defence or Security experience to join us at Scott Brownrigg. This role can be located in one of the following studios: Guildford, London or Cardiff.
We are seeking highly skilled professionals, where you will be responsible for the design and technical delivery of both concept and detailed work on projects across the UK and internationally.
In this role, you will be expected to manage your own time efficiently, delivering project work in an organised manner with meticulous attention to detail. We value teamwork and are looking for someone who can collaborate effectively, bringing a flexible and open approach to problem-solving.
Please note this position requires you to hold or be eligible to hold UK security clearances.
Your Skills
* Revit is essential and a high level of CAD skill
* Good knowledge of NBS specification systems
* Highly computer literate, skilled in Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of Affinity Suite applications is beneficial
* Skilled presenter both verbally and visually using software and hand drawing skills
Your Qualifications and Experience
* RIBA, ARB or equivalent registered Architect with experience of working within the UK Building Regulations
* Defence and/or Security experience is essential
* US Design code experience would be advantageous
* Holds (or is eligible to hold) UK security clearances
* Working knowledge of a mix of construction types
* Proven experience in running a variety of projects, across different building typologies, at varied complexity levels, simultaneously and at all stages
