Since 1999, this company has been supporting businesses across the South, with most clients based locally in Salisbury. This is not your typical 9-5 role. It is dynamic, varied, and perfect for someone who loves technology, delivering outstanding service, and motivating a team. You will work from the office, visit client sites, and occasionally work remotely. No two days are the same, and you will encounter a diverse range of deployments and environments. Our clients rely on us for top-quality IT solutions, and your leadership will be key to ensuring exceptional customer experiences. What You Will Be Doing: Leading the IT engineering team with a positive, proactive approach. Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Overseeing hardware deployments, support, and ongoing maintenance. Managing cloud migrations, including Office 365 and SharePoint. Working with networking technologies such as VLAN, QoS, VPN, DNS (Sophos experience preferred). Supporting Mitel phone systems, including Hosted Cloud, Cisco, and Broadworks. Handling pricing, contract negotiations, and supplier relationships. What We Are Looking For: Proven leadership skills: You will inspire, motivate, and guide a talented technical team. Technical expertise: Experience with OS, virtualisation, cloud environments, networking, and telephony systems. Exceptional communication: You will regularly engage with clients and team members. Customer-focused mindset: We want someone who genuinely cares about delivering the best possible experience. Self-motivation: The ability to manage your own workload and step up when challenges arise. Experience: At least 3 years in a similar role, ideally within an MSP or busy IT environment.
