Chart Industries is hiring an Apprentice Training Coordinator, a unique and exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to utilize their skills and knowledge to guide a group of up to 20 apprentices over a 4-year in-house training program. The role involves instructing and assisting apprentices to achieve the required level of job performance and competency.

What will you do...
* Lead the 4-year Apprentice Training Program in HTO-UK.
* Be the line manager and responsible person for up to 20 apprentices aged between 16-22.
* Oversee their training program and ensure participation and completion of required elements.
* Teach basic hand tool and simple machining skills for first-year apprentices, progressing to complex machining and programming.
* Liaise with external training colleges and other institutions.
* Operate recruitment and selection program for new apprentice intake.
* Manage the Apprentice development program in-house.
This role is based on-site in Peterborough with an essential need to be visible and present. Some travel to recruitment fairs and events is required as is occasional out-of-hours working, which is fully expensed. Additional travel within the UK may also be required.

* Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety requirements and legislation.
* Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Knowledge of modern manufacturing management techniques.
* The ability to work on own initiative.
* Knowledge of 5S continuous improvement.
* Recognized Modern Apprenticeship.
