We have an exciting opportunity to join our HR team at Barking & Dagenham College on a variable hours contract to support our ambitious recruitment strategy for 2025. This is a temporary role to support the team through a longer term sickness absence and recovery period. The role: As our recruitment coordinator you will be instrumental to supporting the recruitment of both permanent and temporary staff into the college. It is a varied and busy role, with plenty of opportunities for stretch for the right candidate. The role is based at our Rush Green Campus (between Romford and Dagenham Heathway stations). Key Responsibilities : End to end recruitment for permanent and temporary workers to BDC. Maintenance of recruitment data and ATS Liaison with external partner agencies (PSL) Key coordinator between managers, agencies, HR Operations partners and candidates. Our ideal candidate : Has recruitment experience, including writing job ads, sourcing of candidates, and liaison with agencies. Is a keen problem solver and excellent communicator. Has experience working with Talos 360 (or can demostrate ability to learn a new system quickly). Motivated by working in a high pressure environment with challenging roles to fill. You will be required to become familiar with College’s policies and comply with the requirements to safeguard and protect the welfare of children and young people and vulnerable adults.
