We work particularly closely with the Finance, Legal, Retail, and Pharmacy teams, advising across an extensive and diverse retail portfolio with significant opportunities to add value and reshape the estate. The role must bring together strong strategic and commercial thinking to deliver the right property solutions for a complex and diverse retail business. The Location Planning team report into the role and helps shape the thinking on the estate's transformation. As a retail property expert, the role must bring vast knowledge of the fast-changing retail marketplace and competitor activity. Your network and understanding of the UK retail landscape are crucial to success. Experience in Airports and Train Stations is helpful as these are important markets for Boots. The team are responsible for acquiring new stores and increasingly working with landlords to redevelop current stores. Identifying opportunities for consolidation from legacy stores into new or improved stores is led by the team. You’ll need high levels of motivation, with tenacity and the desire to develop your capabilities through experience.
