Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading healthcare provider based in Ipswich. They are seeking a skilled Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. As a vital member of a dynamic team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the security of information assets across multiple businesses. This role offers a blend of independent work and collaborative efforts within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Serve as a reference point for all IT, Information Security, and Cyber Security queries.
2. Manage the Security Operations Centre Queue, providing exceptional service in handling requests.
3. Produce a Cyber Security Recommendations proposal.
4. Line manage a team of Cyber Security Analysts.
5. Provide technical support to various IT teams.
6. Offer onsite and remote assistance for IT and Cyber Security tasks.
7. Document security breaches and assess their impact.
8. Develop and implement information security solutions and policies.
9. Attend information security conferences and forums.
Skills and Abilities:
1. Ability to communicate effectively and work under pressure.
2. Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
3. Task planning and prioritisation abilities.
4. Experience with Windows 7/8/10, Desktop, Laptop, Mobile Phones and tablets.
5. Experience with Windows Server, Linux Distributions, Azure Cloud.
6. Experience with Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM).
7. Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus / Tennable.IO.
8. Experience with Cyber Security, risk management, ISO 27001, and Cyber Essentials Plus.
9. Experience with Microsoft Intune.
10. Experience with Microsoft Defender.
11. Experience with Multiple Firewall Vendors.
12. Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, and File Servers.
13. Experience in network and system monitoring.
14. Routine system administration skills.
