Please note that for this role we're only accepting applicants that are students working towards an accountancy or finance degree.
Responsible for the preparation of financial reports which include monthly and annual accounts for a portfolio of investment companies which specialise in renewable energy.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop an understanding of portfolio, the structure and reporting requirements.
* Become familiar with the correct accounting treatment for transactions undertaken by clients
* Review of ledgers to ensure bookkeeping is accurate and performed in a timely manner
* Prepare monthly management accounts, for portfolio including commentary on variance analysis
* Prepare annual statutory accounts for portfolio
* Adhere to timetables for the production of accounts to ensure deadlines are met
* Assist with client and auditor requests
* To provide other related support services as and when required.

Qualifications
* Competent in Excel and Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of bookkeeping
* Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
* Methodical organised approach
