Due to the continued success and expansion of our business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Accounts Assistant to join our team at Hemel Hempstead. The Role The accounts assistant will be responsible for accounting for an area of the group’s accounts, analysing and explaining selected division results, and preparing reports. The accounts assistant will post all the necessary journals to complete the month-end and will complete and review all the balance reconciliations in their area of responsibility. The management accounts will support the year-end audit, provide any supporting information requested and answer any questions. The role holder should ensure business owners fully understand their accounts. The Requirements Minimum AAT qualified, and or studying towards (ACCA,CIMA or equivalent) with at least 3 years in management accounting. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and MS Word. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
