Role Purpose
The Quality Systems Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day Programming/setting/operating of the CNC machines (Bretons) and Kuka Robots.
Key Responsibilities
Programming of CNC machines and Kuka Robots.
Ensuring daily targets are fulfilled.
Implementing Lean Management, supporting 5S and TPMs.
Adjusting of machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
Consider tools required to cut materials and program machines accordingly.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines/robots as they arise.
Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and TPMs.
Train new employees on how to properly operate/Set CNC machines/Robots.
Reading and interpreting technical Drawings and design models
Essential Skills
Must have experience and a good working knowledge of Power Mill
Experience and Knowledge of Openmind Hypermill Software
Vericut experience desirable.
Knowledge of composites and how composite components are manufactured.
Basic knowledge of the make-up of race cars and road cars.
Basic Knowledge of stock Control.
A minimum of 2 years working within the F1/Motorsport/Automotive industry.
Fanuc3 & 5 axis control systems for programming and operating.
3-axis Fusion 360 CAM software, programme and operating.
Power mill CAM software, programme and operating.
Good organisational and communications skills
Ability to work under pressure, and on multiple concurrent projects.
To be proficient in Microsoft 365.
H&S Awareness
Working hours will be between 8am and 4:30pm with a 1pm finish on a Friday however this can be slightly flexible.
