1. This is a hands-on data protection role but also holds DPO level responsibility and responsibility for maintaining the Risk Management framework of the organisation.
2. As Data Protection Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining data protection requirements and providing advice and support across the organisation.
3. You will process Information Rights requests, (FOI), including Subject Access, Objection and Erasure requests, and liaise with Data Subjects and relevant third parties. You will complete Data Protection impact assessments (DPIAs) in line with the UK GDPR and Data Protection legislation and monitor performance of the assessments.
4. You will review and make recommendations on Data Sharing agreements and act as the first point of contact for data breaches and conduct any subsequent investigation.
5. You will provide advice, guidance and training at all levels of the organisation and across business areas in support of Risk Management and corporate governance.
