Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Ecommerce Executive to join the ecommerce team in enhancing the performance of our online store.
This role will involve testing website and experiment changes, collaborating with partner agencies to implement their recommendations, and executing day-to-day ecommerce operations.
The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, and passionate about improving the online customer experience while achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborating with Partner Agencies: Collaborate with partner agencies such as development or SEO teams to implement changes requested by them.
Testing Website Changes: Test website changes thoroughly before and after development work is completed to ensure quality and functionality.
Site Management & Optimization: Perform regular updates and maintenance on the website, including content updates, product listings, and pricing changes.
Monitor website performance and identify areas for improvement.
Data & Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly reports on key ecommerce metrics (traffic, conversions, sales) and make data-driven recommendations.
Monitor trends in ecommerce performance and customer behavior to inform future initiatives.
Customer Experience: Ensure product pages and landing pages are optimized for SEO and user experience.
Coordinate with customer support to gather feedback and insights for improving the customer journey.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to ensure promotional campaigns are well-executed on the site.
Collaborate with the design team to implement visual improvements and update creative assets.
Key Skills & Qualifications: Problem-solving ability to tackle daily challenges in ecommerce and propose solutions.
Ideally 1-2 years of experience in an ecommerce or digital marketing role.
Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and content management systems.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
An action-taker who can independently execute tasks with efficiency and urgency.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
